Most DJ's belong to music services that send them a new CD every two weeks. The DJ does not get to choose what songs he/she gets. This means when they tell you they have 50,000 songs, you'd be lucky to recognize even 1% of them. A True Family Affair has a unique collection. Since we personally screen all of our music, we also personally choose all of our music. To date, more than 73% of our songs have actually been requested at different events.
No matter what your event you will get the opportunity to pick out some songs in advance, as well as look through our request book during the event. When our clients choose songs in advance, it helps us build our music collection based on what you want to hear. You will find our music collection actually quite impressive.
We even carry one of the largest private collections of Christian Music in New England. Over 5,000 song titles available. We have two full sets of our regular music, but only one full set of Christian music. If this is the music you want for your special event, just let us know when you book us to make sure that music collection will be available on your date.
My price for a lifestyle session runs between $150~$250 in general (travel and other fee may apply outside Boston area). All packages include images with retouching and artistic effects and all images on CD.
