American Heart Association certified CPR and First Aid instructor sought for part-time teaching opportunity.
Our Boston and New York based company is expanding to include the North Shore, and we are looking for a instructor to teach our Saturday classes in Peabody. Each class taught must cover American Heart Association Healthcare Provider level CPR and defibrillator training, as well as Heartsaver first aid. All equipment will be provided at the location, and most billing will be taken care of in advance, your primary responsibilities will be to sign people in, teach the materials, and administer the multiple choice exam.
You must have a medical background to be considered for this position, as well as your AHA teaching license. Our current instructors are EMT's and paramedics in Boston, FDNY lieutenants and flight paramedics in New York.
This is a weekly position, and you must be available to teach Saturday mornings (starting at either 10am or 11am, TBD), and the class should last approximately 4-4.5 hours.
