ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<br>
1.	Receives telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from domestic customers, original equipment manufacturers, and distributors. Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service.<br>
2.	Uses a CRT to retrieve customer information, stock status information, the status of purchase orders, and to make changes on customer purchase orders. Ensures that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information.<br>
3.	Follows up on inquiries by checking computer runs on CRT for delivery information. Works closely with scheduler in production control regarding deliveries of scheduled shipments.<br>
<br>
4.	Makes price quotations immediately by phone on price book items. Prepares forms for price quotations on items not contained in price book and forwards to clerk for preparation of quotations.<br>
5.	Checks with credit department concerning credit status of customer when rush orders are received.<br>
6.	Contacts distributors or checks computer printouts sent to us by customers to locate requested items in order to meet customer's delivery requirements. Relays this information to customer.<br>
7.	Maintains files of active orders and posts activity such as change notices, scheduling changes, partial shipments, and credit changes.<br>
8.	Prepares paperwork (original purchase order, copies of invoice, and return goods memo) to be given to accounting department for credit or debit to be issued.<br>

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>
Performs other related duties as assigned.<br>
<br>
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:<br>
1.	Supervised by Customer Service Manager.<br>
2.	Performs semi-routine duties where some judgment is required when communicating with customers, sales representatives, and inter-company personnel. Work is performed under defined and uniform procedures.<br>
<br>
RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:<br>
1.	Equipment: Reasonable care and operation of standard office equipment such as calculator, duplicating machine, and CRT.<br>
<br>
2.	Business Contacts: Responsible for maintaining good customer relations. Generally deals with representatives and customers concerning matters that require some tact and resourcefulness. Contacts with other personnel including engineering and manufacturing departments.<br>

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<br>
1.	High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of training.<br>

Shield System Car Wash and Detail Center is currently looking to expand our team to include Part Time Service Advisors and Detailers to assist customers with a wide range of needs and to promote products and services.  Position is part time hours to start with full time potential possible.
<br>

•	Must be responsible and demonstrate a reliable attendance record.
<br>
•	Excellent team player and able to work in a team environment.
<br>
•	Must possess good communication skills and be able to handle payment exchanges. 
<br>
•	Great customer service skills are required for this position. You must enjoy working with customers.
<br>
•	We are especially looking for someone who is courteous, approachable and friendly.
<br>
•	Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
<br>
•	Must LOVE working with cars!

<br>
We provide paid structured training for any new staff. This job does require manual labor including preparing vehicles for washing and assisting with express detailing services. Please indicate availability and whether there are days or times you cannot work. Please indicate Shield System locations in which you would be able to work. Position requires working weekend days.

Must be able to communicate clearly with members, guests and staff and respond appropriately during an emergency.  <br>
Weekend and evening availability is required.  <br>
The ability to speak Cantonese, Mandarin or Portuguese is a plus.<br>

Preferred candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and be able to work 3 or more shifts per week.<br>
