I have a nice, very lightly used, super clean, Mojave 2.0; smaller 12" frame, but would fit a wide range of riders - probably from 5' or so to 5'10, maybe. I'm 6' tall and with the seat raised up, I can ride it... but it is obviously designed for a smaller rider. Front shocks are Suntour M2000; the other components are Shimano. I don't think you will find a nicer one. This bike will provide years of enjoyment and Raleigh is most definitely the first name in Bikes. Great for getting around on crummy Masaschusetts road or offroading. Seems like it is ready to go. This is NOT a "store bike" from Target or Walmart. I need the following for my MTB project, so we can maybe do a full/partial trade: SLX, XT or XTR crankset (good condition only!), a 9-speed cassette, and good 9 speed shifters. All parts must be in GOOD or NEAR NEW condition -- no bent rusted crap! If you were to ebay the SLX crank and the cassette, it would cost just over $200, and I would consider an even trade for those 2 components. I would also consider a nice MTB suspension fork for trade, or a set of really, really nice (XT or XTR) disk brakes/levers/etc. Let me know what you've got! I also have some old-school Thule bike roof-mount carriers (4 for $30 each or $100 for all), a set of Thule extra-long base carrier bars ($75), and a Thule kayak carrier that is new in its (ripped) box. Hello Craigslist-

I'm selling a vintage late 1970's Green Schwinn Runabout road bike. This item is in mint condition and has barley been on the road its entire life.
Stand over height is 31 inches (measured from top tube to ground).
I bought this from a bike collector in the fall and only rode it a few times. Apparently the bike sat in a collector's attic in California for almost 30 years, when it was sold to the man I purchased it from.

He replaced the tires due to dry-rotting and rode it about 20 miles, and I have ridden it about 20 as well. Other than that, the bike is in completely original and is in mint condition.
It was made in Chicago.

I would like to sell this before Christmas to pay for a trip, so I am open to offers.

You'll be hard pressed to find another original Schwinn in this condition, non restored!

Not a children's bike, it is probably meant for a teenager, or smaller sized adult. Approximate measurements are: 24" wheels; 12 1/2" frame, 24" standover, 20 3/42" top tube (end to end). I have a nice shaped, obviously quite used, but solid Motobecane the early 1980's or possibly late 70's. Made in France, it measures approximately: 32 3/4" Standover, 23" (58.42 CM) Frame from center of pedal mount to the point on the tube where the seat post fits in, 24" Top Tube (end to end); Should probably be a good fit for someone 5'10 or taller. Fun to ride and built to last. Paint has some nicks, marrs from years of use and storage, but still looks very good. Has Weinmann; Huret, Shimano and Suntour components; 2040 Tubing; Handlebars have been replaced with cruisers, but I can include a set of 10 speed bars if you'd prefer them... The bike is in mint condition that would make a wonderful Christmas gift for that special guy or gal.
It is a classic steel frame that was made in Westfield, Ma. It's all original and has chrome fenders, chrome rear rack, chrome wheels and a working chrome headlamp. It is a Sturmey Archer 3-speed and has a comfortable spring loaded seat.
The standover height is 29.5" and would fit anyone between 5'5" - 6' .

I have a decent shaped, obviously quite used Mountain Track 240. Has a little rust on the frame and some paint touch-ups and not the world's prettiest bike; but rides fine and would make for a good beater without a huge investment - it's not often that you'l see a Trek for $100. A good 21 speed mountain bike for man or woman up to 5'8" tall. Has a 25" standover. Great front shocks for offroading. There's still plenty of time for cruising thoughout New England, enjoying the crisp, fall air. Trek has always made nice bikes that were built to last; this one is certainly priced to move.
