A residential development company is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant with strong attention to detail.

The candidate must have 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in a construction environment. The position requires a 'take charge' accountant to manage the full range of accounting cycles; A/P, A/R, G/L, Billing and preparation of monthly financial statements. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of GAAP and industry best practices. The Candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work with all levels of personnel throughout the company and the capacity to multi-task and work independently. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem solving within a small team environment are required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Required

Prior public accounting experience preferred

Experience with assisting auditors and tax accountants with year-end reporting a must

Strong computer skills, Excel and Quickbooks required

Will consider part time and flexible schedules
