The trike conversion was done by "The Trike Shop".It says that in several places on the bike and on the handlebars. I have a friend who tells me that it was a "Moto Trike" brand conversion. I'm not 100% sure either way.

The paint is shiny and in good condition. I have ridden the bike up and down the road a few miles and everything feels ok. I know that the stereo works fine and it comes with a luggage rack/basket that fits into a "draw-tite" type receiver on the rear of the trike.
The trike has 55,150 miles on it.
To the best of my knowledge there are no known mechanical issues with the bike, engine, or drive-train.
There are a few small quirks, (key sticks in one of the saddle bag locks, etc.) Nothing major.
Comes with (2) helmets and has the intercom system in the helmets.
Has aftermarket wind visors on the sides just above your shins to keep the wind off and has highway pegs that allow you to stretch your legs on a long trip.
All tires are in great shape.

*New rear tire at start of season. Front has plenty of rubber on it.

*leather side bags
*pretty nifty for a 80's cruiser, it has a fuel gauge, hazard warning switch, temp gauge, etc etc
*40 mpg normal riding

*always starts right up, bike runs perfect
*brakes are good, electricals all work.
*clear title

not so good:

*previous owner changed the odometer. It says 15K now, but it probably has ~40K on it
*its an 86 model, yes, it makes it 23 years old. There is bound to be chips and rust on the body
*the seat has a few cuts filled in with liquid electrical tape
*single key (I forgot to get it from the previous owner)
*bike might need a wash depending on how 'manly' you are :)

I have this bike since the start of the season (~March).

I am firm on the price.
KBB value pegs retail at 1.9K and trade-in at 1.2K.
Bikes usually go for something in between (say 1.4k).
I have already discounted for the 'risk' of unknown mileage, factoring in the good condition of the bike and the new tire.

Yellow 2002 Buell Blast 500. Clean MA title. Bike is in good condition with 3394 miles as of Nov 1 2009. Gas mileage is excellent: You can get around 70mpg on the highway, but only 50-60mpg in the city. Insurance is extremely cheap for this model bike. It's very light ~350lbs with a low center of mass so its very easy to maneuver and handle. Ideal for shorter or female riders, and makes an excellent beginner or commuter bike. Great for those looking at scooters, but would like something that's highway legal.

I installed larger stem mirrors with a ball joint (stock mirrors needed a wrench for even minor adjustments). About 300 miles ago, I changed the engine oil and filter, changed the transmission oil to synthetic, replaced all brake fluids, put in a new iridium spark plug, and cleaned and reassembled the carburetor. This bike is very easy to maintain: minimal electronics, no carb sync, and easy fluid changes. Everything is ready to go.

Service manual included ($70), and owners manual is free online. Spare key included as well.

This is a 1994 Moto Guzzi Strada 1000.The motorcycle is stock.The enine has great power and the 5 speed shifts smoothly in all gears.It has Bridgestone Spitfire tires with plenty of miles left on them.All lights,turn signals,horn,ect are in good working order.I got the bike with damaged speedometer and tachometer.They were replaced with new old stock Veglia gauges,which came on the bike.The bike has approx. 36,000.I have the old gauges to show to you..The bike fell over in the garage and bent the front brake lever and left a few small dings on the tank.The bike has some scratches and a couple of small holes on the seat.Its a sweet running and handling Guzzi.If interested,I can send you some more pictures. $2100.00
