Soon after the show, I emailed one of my friends who works at the facility, simply asking how the show went. I got this little reply.
"Speaking of baby, Britney was good. Certainly entertaining. I was a little creeped out by the whole Circus/S&M theme, but it kept me watching, that's for sure."
I find the second part of that statement far more compelling than the first. 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' could have easily described a number of people, including a former news ditz, who let her Slamball loving tool of an ex-boyfriend hit and videotape her having sex one too many times before she got the point.

Britney's problems have been far more emotional, which has earned her sympathy amongst her female fandom, something Tom Brady didn't earn when he ditched Bridget Moynahan for Giselle. And much like the ending to 'The Bachelor', one can gossip endlessly about failed relationships and how one of the most beautiful teen icons on the planet can make the wrong decision time and time again.
While men obsess over Kendra Wilkinson's looks, women were far more concerned about what was going on with the 'Girls Next Door', which explains why the demographics of that show and the subsequent 'House Bunny' movie were primarily women, while 'Miss March', with its intent on losing one's virginity is catered to a mostly male audience.
And it seems as if we had a good stretch of two or three years where either Britney, or little sis and fellow damaged goods icon Jamie-Lynn were gracing the cover of some maggy, on the brink of a total meltdown.
On my drive back from a work related meeting in New Jersey, I was listening to conservative pundit Mary Matalin give an interview in which she mentioned she was taking her tween daughter to the show, describing it as 'innocent fun' and a night out for mother and daughter.
Truth be told, there is a lot of lust hidden in the so-called 'innocence'.

As I have said before I look MUCH younger than 39, so much that 'peers' don't even see me as an available choice. Blessing?
