We are looking for an Information Architect with experience designing FLEX applications on behalf of our client, Fidelity Investments. This position is based in Boston, MA.
Summary
Our information architect will design and architect user interface web applications that are being developed in FLEX. They will work with developers and stakeholders to ensure proper development is executed and visual design is achieved.
This resource will be allocated to projects in support of cross-product initiatives.
Specific initiatives impacted would be:
- Project Link - Dashboard: This is an IPG initiative to improve the overall service experience for investment professionals.
- International Trading
Qualifications
Extensive experience in web design and development, specifically strong knowledge of HTML and image formats appropriate for the Web (GIF, JPG, PNG) and applications used to produce them.
Experience designing web applications that are developed in FLEX
Demonstrated experience building web sites from conception to production.
Fluency with design and prototyping tools.
Business and technical analysis and solution design.
Strong communication and facilitation skills.
A background in Financial Services is preferred.
Organizational skills.
Leadership skills.
An ability to exert influence without authority; negotiation skills.
Familiarity with software delivery methodologies.
Responsibilities
Serve as the design team leader and focal point for all design deliverables.(applications will be developed in FLEX)
Work with business sponsors, and project team to clarify and refine project goals, competitive analysis, user goals, target audience and measurement criteria.
Work with project team members to develop user scenarios in support of stated user goals, and when appropriate, use cases.
Define site structure and create site maps, including local and global navigation.
Create wireframe prototype of page mockups.
Create initial screen designs and prototypes for team review and usability.
Work with Visual Design to create final screen designs.
Work closely with Development to ensure correct implementation.
