Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Web Developer for our front end UI development team. The successful candidate will help design, develop, and support our user experience. This is a new company attacking an old idea in a completely new way, with a lean, agile team. If you don’t like bushwhacking, we’re the wrong company for you.
We believe that a compelling user experience is a key competitive advantage, and that’s not just “blah blah blah” to us – we really mean it. Help us do even more! You should be well versed in modern web implementation techniques (you’ve got your favorite Javascript framework and good reasons for why you like it) and be pathologically interested in producing a high quality web application that’s aesthetically pleasing and wicked fast.
Qualifications
• 5+ years public-facing website construction
• Deeply versed in JavaScript, HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, and cross-browser compatibility
• Strong background and familiarity with PHP and Javascript/Ajax frameworks
• Experience building horizontally scalable multi-tiered web applications, Java background a plus
• OpenSocial, Facebook, Twitter, or Google Maps API is a huge plus!
• Experience in the use of agile processes and test driven development a plus
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical degree preferred

• Excellent people skills - demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical team members. After all this should be fun!
