The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University (www.cdiabu.com) offers certificate programs in Web Development (as well as Digital Filmmaking, Photography, Graphic and Web Design, Audio Production and 3D Animation).
Classes are taught by working professionals who bring their experience and industry knowledge to the classroom. CDIA is looking for contract, short-term instructors for our Web Development program who are proficient in the following areas :
Joomla!
Flex
XML with XSL & XPATH

This is not a salaried position. A link to class descriptions can be found here:

All topics are focused around how to build effective and secure consumer-facing websites.

* Perfect for experienced freelancers to supplement their income, or full-timers who want to give back
* Class time is a mix of lecture, group discussion, and project work
* Each class's curriculum is objective based; there are certain key points we need the students to learn and demonstrate competency in, though we want you to teach your professional experience
* Classes require preparation time, but there's no homework to grade
* Classes are small (4-12 students)
* There are two program tracts: day and evening. In the day program, each course runs for one full week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. The part-time evening, each course runs two nights a week, 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and alternating Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.

An instructor's commitment is generally one course (one week for full-time, or approximately three weeks for part-time) at a time.

If you are dynamic, communicative, hardworking, personally reliable and enjoy working with people this is a opportunity to join a innovative school that believes you should "do what you love".
