Element Productions is a commercial production company and post-production facility located in Allston, MA. Element has produced commercials for Subway, Uno Chicago Grill, Dunkin Donuts, and the Massachusetts Lottery, just to name a few.
The internship:
Element Productions offers internships year-round. Although the internships are unpaid, we can give college credit. Interns will have the opportunity to go on set of a commercial shoot, where there is potential for payment.
Interns will help out with general office duties such as errands and answering phones. They will also assist the Executive Producer with special projects and research assignments. Students skilled in Final Cut and/or After Effects might also have the opportunity to work with editors in post-production.
This is a great internship for someone looking to make connections in the industry. Good impressions go a long way; former interns have been hired to work on commercials as freelance crew and over the years a few have even been taken on as full-time staff at Element.
Element is currently accepting applications for the spring semester. Ideal candidates would be available to start right after the New Year.
Requirements / Skills:
- Must be able to work at least 2 full days a week (9a – 6p) throughout the semester
- Valid drivers license (personal car is a plus)
- Excellent phone skills
- Personable, confidant, self-starter, problem-solver
- Detail oriented, able to multi-task in a small, but at times fast-paced, office setting
