We are a Somerville couple (environmentalist, architect) in Somerville in our 50s - we are also devoted Apple fans looking for some next-level help with our systems and equipment. We read MacLife and MacWorld, we go to the Apple Store, and we try to keep up, but we still need part-time assistance from a Apple semi-pro who can come to our house for a few hours a month to help us take a few more sophisticated steps into the Apple universe.

We need someone, for example, who can make sure that we are networked properly, can backup everything through Airport Extreme, run music remotely into our rooms, answer our semi-technical questions, and guide us in some intelligent purchasing decisions. We are available days and evenings. Pay would be in the vicinity of $20-25 an hour depending on your experience and skill, perhaps more if you are really a whiz.
