Part-Time IT Professional sought to provide technical support to 5-
person office an international nonprofit organization.
Schedule: On-site 3-4 days/week, 10-15 hours/week. Rare on-call system troubleshooting.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Computer Help Desk support
Mostly Macintosh environment: Mac OS X workstation support (printer drivers, diagnose issues, software updates)
Some experience with PCs preferred
Email support (Eudora, Entourage)
Required: working knowledge of FileMaker Pro, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Pro, DreamWeaver,
Photoshop, Illustrator) and pre-press software (Quark and InDesign)
2) General IT Support
Network maintenance
Centralized backup maintenance (Retrospect, Time Machine)
Basic Mac Server maintenance (X Serve)
Expanded Responsibilities (depending on experience):
Web Design & Implementation (DreamWeaver, CSS, PHP)
FileMaker Pro Server management
OS X Server troubleshooting
Manage and adjust fire wall and VPN settings (SonicWall)
