Limelight Stage + Studios’ (www.limelightboston.com) is an entertainment venue that has multiple ‘Studios’ where customers can sing karaoke and record their performances. Each Studio has a host of A/V components including a plasma TV, mixer, amplifier, speakers, vocal processor, LED lights, microphones and touch screen monitor. At the heart of this installation is a PC running software that allows users to access song library, create a play list, select video channels, change LED lighting sequences and record. The custom application was created with with Cycling ’74 Max MSP (
http://www.cycling74.com/products/max5) and a the GUI was made with Adobe Director (
http://tryit.adobe.com/us/director/).
Limelight is looking to hire a Technology Manager who can both maintain the A/V equipment in the Studios and Club, as well as work on development items for the custom software (i.e. updating song library, trouble-shooting problems).
Ideally candidates can demonstrate a proficiency with both hw and sw, are enthusiastic about the concept and are able to start work asap!
