Job Description:

Invisible Sentinel is seeking a talented and highly motivated biomedical scientist with a strong educational and technical background in the fields of bacteriology and immunology. The successful candidate will need to be familiar with the development and characterization of monoclonal antibodies. This position provides the opportunity to be a member of the core design team and as such you will need to demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm, dedication, and innovation. The core responsibility for this position would be the design and development of assays to characterize monoclonal antibodies specific for various bacterial pathogens.

Responsibilities: Will include (but are not limited to) the following:

Establish and Supervise the antibody design and engineering group.
Expression, purification and characterization of monoclonal antibodies.
Represent antibody expertise in project team meetings and provide flexible support to
colleagues working on correlating company projects.
Manage lab resources and assess performance of team members.

Requirements:

Ph.D. in biological sciences with a minimum of 2 to 3 years practice in protein purification
& monoclonal antibody development.
Strong background and expertise in molecular biology, bacteriology and/or immunology.
Experience with expression, purification, and characterization of monoclonal antibodies is required.
Proven track record and in-depth knowledge of current antibody engineering literature and
characterization protocols.
Team-oriented and pro-active attitude; ability to communicate and interact effectively with management as well
as lab personnel.
Constructively contribute to decision-making and optimization of assay design.
