Overview:
Handle day to day activities associated with the business and financial systems within the agency. Position is multi-faceted allowing for development across various platforms, direct client interaction, technical support, reporting and systems management.
Responsibilities:
Create test plans, test, install and document software updates from vendors and internally developed applications
Daily download and processing of data
Troubleshoot problems with applications
Basic development using Lotus Notes, Microsoft .net and LAMP environment
Gathering of business requirements for internal development
Optimal Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
2 years of experience in similar role
Visual Basic (Standalone and within Excel)
Expereince in development with C# .net
Lotus Notes design
HP-UX and shell scripting
Basic Database structure knowledge and SQL query
Able to interpret users, think and implement solutions in an object oriented fashion
Able to clearly express logic and opinions (written and verbal)
Proven ability to provide efficient and effective solutions
Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Mac, PC & Unix(Linux) experience
