We are currently seeking experienced, dynamic computer professionals who can provide strategic advice, system design, hands-on implementation, and on-going support to our clients.
As the leading sustainable IT consulting firm in the Boston area, we develop comprehensive ideas, strategies and best practices to help make our clients networks more energy-efficient. Candidates for this position should have a positive attitude towards energy efficiency, product re-use and resource conservation.
The role of the network engineer is to help our clients leverage technology to meet their business goals. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill-set in order to provide a full gamut of technical services during regularly scheduled visits to the client site. Specific services include onsite network maintenance; software selection and integration; and full lifecycle support.
We are looking for mid-level qualified professionals who have experience with the following concepts, technologies, protocols and products:
In-depth knowledge of
Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Applications as well as
Apple Computing
Strong understanding of Network Management (all aspects)
Experience with Plesk, DNS management, and certificate services
Strong preference is given to candidates with skills in Website Administration, such as:
o
Apple/Mac Environments and OS's
o HTML and PHP
o LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP or Python) and/or IIS 6/7/8 administration
o MySQL/PHPmyadmin or MS-SQL/SQL Management Studio Express
o Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
o PCI Compliance, including implementation of SSLv3 and TLS 1.0 protocols/cyphers
o Google Analytics and/or AWStats
The successful candidate for this position(s) will:
Achieve client technical solution design and resolution within controlled timeframe
Have strong organizational, project management, time management & communication skills
Be able to multi task while supporting concurrent client engagements
Work independently
Independently study new technologies, techniques and protocols
