How would you like to be an integral part of the growth of a young Boston-based IT consulting and support firm providing services to a diverse range of Macintosh-based businesses throughout the region?
We are looking for a full-time Senior Macintosh Systems Admininstrator. The person who fills this position will provide high-level hands-on (as well as phone and remote) technical support to our client base. Beyond the technology requirements of this position, this person will be in charge of mentoring, training and developing other consultants on our team, managing client relationships, and helping to plan, supervise and manage strategic projects. Other responsibilities include report writing, and documentation. You will be required to drive to client locations and be must willing to work after-hours, including nights and weekends.
Required Areas of Expertise
- Mac OS X and OS X Server
- ACSA certification of equivalent experience
- Server deployments, administration, monitoring, and maintenance
- Command line OSXS administration
- Network design, architecture, configuration and installation (switches, routers, firewalls), TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN
- Directory Services (OD, AD, OD/AD Integration), LDAP, MCX, Mobility
- IT security
- Wireless networking, 8021.x, RADIUS
- Backup fundamentals, tape backups, automation and scripting
- Network storage, SANs, Xsan
- Apple Remote Desktop
- Email and web server administration
- Microsoft Exchange-Mac Integration
- iPhone Exchange Integration, 802.1x, VPN
- Windows system administration knowledge
