Vehicle Description
You are looking at a very clean and very rare original Meyers Manx Buggy. The car has been authenticated by Bruce Meyers as one of his early version cars, probably one of the first 200 cars made.
The car had been repainted at some point over the original Gel Coat. All of this paint has been sanded off along with some miner patching and glass repairs. The body now has a lite primer sealer coat on it. The floor pans have been replaced, the tunnel has a small dent/hole in it.
The brakes and suspension have all been rebuilt. The front axle beam was replaced with an adjustable Beam. The spindles are CB Performance 2 1/2" Dropped. The rear torsion bars have all so been adjusted to lower ride height to match the front.
Inside the car are PRP Seats mounted on adjustable slides, a new dash that drops down for access to wiring. Gauges are Auto Meter and hi intensity LEDs warning lights . The windshield has been chopped 2 in.
DRIVE TRAIN
The trans, differential and axles have all been built to take the power of a hi output engine and aggressive driving style.Built with Widdle racing gears, super diff. and Sway-A-Way Axles and a Gene Berg Short Shifter. Super trans mount and new Good Year Eagle tires on Centerline wheels.
ENGINE
The engine is built for street and strip use and runs on pump gas. Displacement is 2332cc with the following specs.
