ALERT: Sketchy Rideshare--"Mark" in Boston (Boston/Quincy)

Last week I posted here looking for a ride to Maine and was offered one by a man calling himself Mark. He claimed to be going up to the L.L. Bean factory store in Lewiston for hiking equipment, but this guy didn't look like he could hike an anthill--he was large, seemed out of shape, and almost tripped just crossing the street. From the moment we shook hands I had a bad feeling about taking the ride, but decided to give it a shot--I knew we wouldn't be getting on the highway immediately. He seemed nervous. He said he was a "hypnotist", by which he meant hypnotherapist. I pressed him for stories about clients and his answers were ridiculous. He's Russian and his English wasn't the best, but his halting speech pattern seemed to be due more to slow thinking than lack of language. In any case, I told him I'd left my wallet behind and to let me out of the car, which he did. Maybe he really is a fat hiker and hypnotist with mainly Russian clients (who are able to go from a crippling fear of flying to having a pilot's license after just three sessions with him), maybe nothing would have happened, but I didn't trust him farther than I could throw him. He had a handshake like a limp dick.
So watch out for this dude. I think he drives a red Pontiac, and his face is scarred.
