Hey all,
I've spent the long (beautiful) winter in coastal Maine and now I'm looking to head south, back home to Kentucky. Aiming to ride my bicycle from KY to Port Townsend, WA this summer and need to get to my rig and get situated.
But first, I need a kindly ride.
I'm hoping to leave New England between the 23rd and the 30th of May. I'm 23, male, sometimes a musician, sometimes a volunteer, sometimes a house carpenter. I'm clean (or will be for this trip), and aim to be an easy-breezy travel partner. It's your ride, I'd just like to have a sit and visit w/ you along our way.
I'm college educated w/ blue-collar sensibilities, try my best to be easy, got some stories and am happy to listen to yours. Can also handle silence when it comes. I have a few cross-country drives behind me and clean record. Glad indeed to split gas costs as far as I ride. Probably by you some soda pop too, if you're into that.
I pretty flexible on dates, though I'd like to be in Ky by the beginning of June. If there's room in your car/truck, I'd like to bring along a frame/hiking backpack, my guitar, and a standard sized steamer trunk. If that makes it too tight, then I can probably heave the steamer into the sea as a libation.
If any of this sounds like it might work for you, then drop me line and we can work out the details lickity-split. Looking forward to getting on the road and enjoying the journey with someone. We'll make the best of it, I'm sure.
To all of you traveling, good luck!
Thanks for reading,
Jack
