I'm embarking from Boston, MA to Seattle, WA in the first week of June. The actual departure date is somewhat flexible.

About Me:

Since we'll potentially be in the car together for 3k miles, here is what you need to know about me. I'm a 25 year old anthropology student, and am going to Seattle for a summer internship in that field at UW. I'm liberal, and easy to get along with. I've done rideshare so many times, I can't even count. I have always had the best of experiences, even from MA to FL, and KS to CA. All I ask in someone is that you be (reasonably) sane, flexible, and respectful. By the way, I'm gay, so you should be cool with that. You can see more about me on FaceBook, and MySpace. www.MySpace.com/CharlieBoston

The Facts:

The car is 98 Honda Accord, stickshift. Its in tip-top shape, and is ready for the haul. If you want to help with some of the driving, thats a bonus, but if you can't, thats ok. There is a CD player, and iPod/MP3 adapter. On the car, there will be a bike rack, and a MAYBE weather proof rooftop carrier. (but those kill gas mileage, so I'm still debating that.) I'll be happy to share up to 50% of the space in the car for your stuff.

We'll also be sharing expenses 50/50. Pets are welcome for the ride.

Accommodation: Where I don't have friends and family along the way, I will be staying at cool campgrounds, like National Parks and stuff, cause its cheap, and pretty. Maybe cheap motels, if one happens to be around. If you're not cool with the camping side of things, I can drop you at a hotel or something, then we can re-connect in the morning.

Thats all I can think of for now. Looking forward to meeting someone cool to share the costs and the adventure with!

Update:I'm thinking there may not be a whole lot of people who want to go ALL the way from MA to WA, since I haven't had any replies to this posting. So I'm thinking of splitting it up. Maybe give one person a ride from Boston to Chicago, then get someone else to go from Chicago to Seattle or something like that. So, let me know if you are trying to get somewhere on the way!
