Part time opportunity to work in local grocery store chain working as a Food Sampler. Hours are Thursdays - Sundays 10am - 4pm. Having basic cooking ability and a willingness to encourage consumers to try a sample and purchase the product is key. Being friendly while promoting the vendors product and increasing the sale of the item is the ultimate goal of sampling!
You should be outgoing and approachable, have a neat appearance, and willing to make the sale! A small card table is necessary for demo set up and on occasion some small appliances in order to execute the vendors' product. (typically a toaster oven, portable microwave, electric skillet, or blender, most items found in your own home).
Other skills needed for consideration are:
Ability to work independently
Ability to follow written instructions
Ability to process paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
