tarte, inc. is a privately owned cosmetics company created in 1999 which is carried in Sephora. Entrepreneur and every day woman, Maureen Kelly started tarte in 1999, after frustration with the cosmetics industry because most brands were focused for makeup artists and all had synthetic unhealthy ingredients. With fun easy-to-use products and good-for-your-skin formulas, Kelly designed tarte to take the stress out of makeup.
We are rapidly growing and are on the search for a 25 hour per week Part Time New England Education Specialist to help grow the business in our Sephora accounts and to assist the Senior Regional Education Manager.
Requirements for the Position:
Being able to communicate clearly.
High willingness to learn.
Must be able to work in a team setting everyday.
Excellent problem solving abilities.
Prior Education or retail and/or Sales experience.
Must possess high energy and and a great energetic personality. Shy people will not thrive in this position. Huge bubbly personality is key!!!
Must be proficient in applying makeup with makeup knowledge.
A self starter who takes initiative.
Must own a car and have a driver's license.
A high level of selling and persuasion skills.
Position is a 1099 Independent Contractor.
Responsibilities Include:
Building relationships with store teams.
Visit each store 1 to 3 times a month depending on the stores needs.
Educating store teams on brand image, application techniques, product knowledge through training and education.
Continuously evaluating each stores productivity and needs.
Scheduling trainings and coordinating in store selling events.
Reporting to Education Manager on a weekly basis and as needed.
Ensuring that all store displays are correctly merchandised and that all stores have appropriate stock levels.
Making sure sales goals are met in every store you are responsible for. There will be 9 stores that this part time position will be responsible for in the MA, NH, & Albany NY area. This person must have a very flexible schedule and will be required to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sunday and/or whatever days the business entails.
