Bogen Manfrotto 484RC2 tripod head - LIKE NEW (Brookline) $45

This is a Bogen Manfrotto 484RC2 tripod head in Like New condition. INLCUDES QUICK RELEASE PLATE. It's perfect for a monopod or outstanding for small camera on a tripod.

The Bogen-Manfrotto 484RC2 is a versatile head fitted with a 3157N quick-release camera plate and a secondary safety catch. This head is perfect for 35mm SLR cameras with medium lenses, and light medium format cameras. A direct replacement of the 3262QR Midi Ball Head, the 484RC2 features a strong die-cast construction, precision machined aluminum housing, and an extremely hard phenolic resin ball which provides smoother movements across all tilt positions. It has a single indexed ratchet locking knob for 360-degree pan and a double groove for +90 to -90-degree tilt movements. Camera plate has a 1/4-20-inch male thread, and head to tripod attachment is 3/8-inch female. Optional Plates: 200PL-38, 200PLARCH-14, 200PLARCH-38.
Features include:

--Sturdy all-metal construction.

--The double 90-degree groove (one on each side of the head) means switching from landscape to portrait is convenient however you're set up.

--The compact, rectangular 200PL quick release plate system fits neatly under small-bodied still cameras up to SLR (even with tele lenses) or small medium format, or under small video cameras or spotting scopes. Its rubber pad gives a good grip without damaging the camera, and its angled sides ensure that it also fits perfectly and tightly into a wide range of Manfrotto heads

--This head features a secondary security lock so you can't accidentally release the plate (and camera) without meaning to. The lock stops the quick release lever from opening fully.

--A repositionable ratchet means that the locking lever's action will never be blocked either open or closed by interference with the camera body, tripod shoulder, etc... simply pull the lever outwards and it's free to be positioned more comfortably without affecting the locking mechanism. Then you can continue tightening or loosening the knob.

--A convenient single locking mechanism blocks or frees movement on all axes for greater speed of use.

Up for sale is the Canon 480exii Flash. Price is set at $220 cash or best offer. I have used this item very rarely as I have recently gotten into using primes in my photography. It has been gently used and kept in awesome condition. All original items included (pouch and hot shoe stand). The hot shoe stand is useful if you wish to mount it onto a light stand and use the 480 as a fill light. This unit puts pop-up flashes to shame and the recycle time is an improvement from the original 480ex, but no where near the 580exii. Here's your chance to own one at a fraction of the cost.

Sigma DP1, Brand New.
The Sigma DP1 was designed for anyone wanting digital SLR quality in a small package. Starting with the Sigma DP1's sensor, Sigma chose Foveon's 14.1-megapixel sensor that outputs a 4.64-megapixel image. Each of those pixels is created by three photosites that are stacked in layers, recording full color information at every pixel location. The maximum resolution is identical to that of Sigma's SD14 digital SLR: 2640 x 1760 pixels (uninterpolated), with a 3:2 aspect ratio. (Traditional Bayer-sensor cameras capture only one color at each pixel location, and interpolate the other two colors from surrounding pixels, leading to somewhat reduced luminance resolution, and a significant reduction in chrominance resolution and other color-related problems).

The Foveon X3 image sensor is coupled to a 16.6mm lens with a focal length crop equivalent to a 28mm lens on a 35mm camera. The lens has a maximum aperture of f/4. Keeping lens size and weight down for a compact camera that uses a sensor not much smaller than those used in most digital SLRs must have proved quite a challenge, and the lack of an optical zoom and maximum aperture limitation hint at this. The Sigma DP1's lens also supports manual focus via fly-by-wire.
Also, I am including rails that I bought from DVcity. They're Zacuto knock-offs and work incredibly well for a snorkel-up configuration. Also giving you a storm case.

So, here's what's included:

SGpro rev 3

allen wrenches

2 battery boxes

Shoot35 lens cloth

screw driver

Storm Case im2100

72mm connection

Nikon mount

Rails

They come with the original custom leather case which has "Leitz" embossed on it. Here is what the written on the binoculars: "Made by Leitz Portugal"; "Trinovid 10x40B 110m/1000m"; "894186". The white tag on the bottom is just my removeable name tag (I'll take it off upon sale).

Canon G9 Package (Harvard Square, Government Center) $350

CAMERA

For sale is a used Canon G9 Powershot camera. Anyone who knows these cameras knows what a great workhorse this is – full manual controls for aperture, ISO controls, shutter speed. This is a TOP OF THE LINE compact camera, and one that has gotten phenomenal reviews all over the web. It is THE camera of choice for professionals who do not want to lug around their full DSLR suite, as well as prosumers like myself.

The G9 is a much better than the newer G10 in terms of zoom and image quality,

I am selling this camera because I am purchasing a new DSLR and need to free up cash for the purchase. It is in great condition and takes amazing pictures.

Specs are the usual: 12.1 MP (great for 20-30 prints), RAW capability, 16:9 shooting, Digic III processing, ISO controllable up to 1600, and most importantly a 6x optical zoom.
ACCESSORIES

Because I am enthusiast, I have purchased a number of accessories for the Canon G9 that will be included:

- Lensmate G9 Adapter (Aluminum) – this is aluminum and much better IMHO than the Canon-branded adapter. This enables the camera to be outfit with any 58mm lenses, filters, or other items.
- HOYA Linear polarizer – this is a great attachment filter for anyone who shoots nature or water scenes. This removes all glare off of non-metallic surfaces

Stock accessories –
*EDIT - will include DCR-250 Macro Lens in package - great for taking those awesome macro pictures you've always wanted

Also included are new USB cables (never used), A/V cables, battery, Canon neckstrap, and battery charger.

I am asking for $350 for the whole package. This is a great starter set for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with the bulk of an SLR but still take incredible pictures. This is the take-anywhere, fit in your pocket solution when a dslr just won't do.

Thanks serious inquiries only.
Brand new, these items sell for over $650. My loss is your gain. Thanks!
**Stock photos only

Price - FIRM. price reduced to $350 is a steal for all of these items together.

More than you thought there was to know about printing. Sterry process? Self-masking with enlarging paper? All in here. Not unsuitable for beginners, not unsurprising for old hands.
Lots of technical detail, but really about art and how to make it. You don't have to like Vestal's overly modest, low-contrast style to profit from his point of view.

The 804RC2 head is the first head in the world to use a counter spring system. The spring makes it easier to position the camera on any axis since it opposes most of the camera weight, so the ballhead is actually doing most of the counter work for you, thereby helping you to easily set the camera in your shooting position. The 804 even has a built in level to help with landscape shots. I upgraded to a pistol grip ballhead quite awhile ago and don’t need this any longer. It’s like new and comes with two quick release plates that fit all Manfrotto / Bogen heads. Price in the stores is around $120.00 so you can save about $50.00.

I have a Canon 430EX flash, for use on Canon DSLR cameras. Currently on my Canon EOS 40D, but it will do its fancy auto-exposure and zooming on any Canon DSLR body, as well as on some top-end compacts. This makes a world of difference for photos, compared to any convenience onboard flash your body might have.
It works perfectly, and has noticeable cosmetic wear. Just the strobe and its pouch, no box or other materials.
Will sell for $180 or trade straight-across for a Sony PlayStation 3 that works perfectly.

Novatron versatile Barebulb Head (Cambridge) $160

This is a studio flash head ideal for intermediate to advanced photographers. In order to use it, you'll need a Novatron power pack, which can be found used inexpensively. The item for sale is Litelight barebulb head for Novatron pack, plus one bulb. This consists of Litelight parts numbers 32-4690 and 34-0491 (check out LiteLight website for the technical specs, but it will work with all Novatron power packs). Paid $220 last year for the price plus shipping. Very lightly used in just 3 sessions, and went through less than 2000 pops. It's in excellent condition and perfect working order.

As far as I know, LiteLight is the only source of barebulb heads available for Novatron packs.

This barebulb head is very versatile in creative lighting techniques, because of its lightweight and very low profile. It can be used with soft boxes, umbrellas, beauty dishes, other reflectors, or it can be placed in many places where conventional heads cannot be placed (due to size and weight). The barebulb is also very good for creating overall fill light by bouncing off the walls and the ceiling. If you are a photographer with brain, you can use it in many different ways to create effects no other types of heads can produce.

I'm selling this only because I sold my last Novatron pack and I can no longer use it myself.

Serious inquiries only, please. Please include in your email, your name and phone number to arrange the transaction.

Canon EOS 10QD is for sale.
This camera has pretty good AF system for a film camera, and it works nicely in dim indoors, even when compared to the latest Elan 7NE. This camera comes with a GR-60 grip, which makes the camera much easier to hold with large hands. It also comes with the original instruction booklet, product brochure, barcode reader, and barcode booklet.
It is in good cosmetic conditions and also in working order. Comes with one 2CR5 battery. However, the item is from 1990s and so I recommend it for serious hobbyists who know how to figure things out by searching on the internet... it's priced accordingly and it's a great bargain for the right people.
