Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries' mission is to provide exemplary job training and related services to help individuals with disabilities and other barriers to self sufficiency to achieve independence and dignity through work. Not charity, but a chance.

JOB TITLE: Job Specialist

SUMMARY:
Goodwill knows that one of the most effective ways to fight poverty is to help people become economically self sufficient through work. Goodwill's Workforce Development programs respond to the needs of low- and very low-income individuals by providing the job skills and work-readiness training, and job placement supports needed to enter the workforce. The individuals served by Goodwill are seeking employment and lives of independence but many are faced with barriers such as low educational attainment, limited job experience, domestic violence, limited English skills, homelessness, physical disabilities, psychiatric disabilities or a combination of these. Some individuals have been laid off from their jobs and need to develop new skills to re-enter the very competitive job market, others are single parents striving to find jobs to support themselves and their children.
