LOCATION: 28 Rockwell St. Dorchester, MA
SCHEDULE: 40 hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position has responsibility for the day-to-day functioning of this program. One aspect of the job involves offering case management services as they are needed by residents who are living with HIV/AIDS and have histories of homelessness and co-occurring disabilities such as substance abuse and mental illness.
As Supervisor, this position is responsible for the clinical and administrative supervision of an evening counselor and a house manager. This involves hiring, evaluation, training and support of supervisees. The supervisor also ensures compliance with licensing and legal requirements; communicating key objectives to staff and ensuring compliance with same. The supervisor also ensures compliance with rent collection, as well as lease and recertification paperwork, The Supervisor will carry a cell phone at all times, and be the primary responder to emergency calls from the answering service, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is also occasional representation of Pine Street Inn at neighborhood and interagency meetings.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Master's Degree in social work or a related field
• LCSW
• Minimum of three years experience working as a direct care service provider with persons with disabilities, preferably with persons living with HIV/AIDS
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to interact successfully and respectfully with a wide variety of people
• Requires direct personal assistance to residents as the need arises
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Frequently climb several flights of stairs, clean, and respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies
• Computer literacy a must (MS Word, Outlook, etc.)

PAY: $20 DOE
