Position Summary:
We are looking for Site Supervisors who have extensive experience in the field of human services, preferably with adults with developmental disabilities. Site Supervisors offer assistance and support to clients at home and in the community. Responsibilities include care management and skills training in all areas of independent living (ADLs, social skill development and behavior support) and site administration (staff supervision, financial planning, medication audits, and ensuring agency/state regulations are followed).

These positions are open for working with individuals with:
• Developmental disabilities
• Aspergers and other Autism Spectrum Diagnoses
• Dual Diagnosis of mental retardation and mental health disorders

JF&CS provides high quality services in a dynamic, community focused atmosphere with a great benefit package (including 34 days of paid time off!). Our programs are located in the Brighton, Brookline and Newton areas. All of which are accessible by public transportation


Essential Job Functions:
• Coordinate all program operations
o Implementation and tracking of budget as assigned
o Coordinate all requirements are met for JF&CS regulations such as; record keeping, service plans, incident reporting etc.
o Oversee all client records; confidential file, financial file, health record
o Maintains the safety and cleanliness of the program
o Ensures all maintenance and IT requests are made and completed
o Ensures all MAP regulations are followed as applicable
• Coordinate all client care
o Coordinates the case management of all clients
o Performs direct care and case management
o Coordinates all healthcare and therapy appointments for all clients as needed
o Turn in bi-weekly client updates and quarterly progress notes in a timely fashion
o Communicates regularly with client families, day programs, and collateral treatment providers
o Manages all transportation needs for the program and all residents
o Serve as main point of contact during emergencies and crises.
o Screen all incidents and notify the Senior Residence Manager and/or the Residential Director within the specified time
o Willingness to learn, then teach all aspects of Jewish Traditions
o Organizes and oversees participation of CHAI group activities and events for program
o Follows all JF&CS personnel policies and procedures
o Other duties as assigned

Additional duties:
• Attend bi-weekly Manager Team meetings
• Participate in weekly On Call Manager rotation

The Site Supervisor is expected to see the “big picture” of the entire CHAI program, particularly with regard to On Call. When on call, each Site Supervisor is responsible for the operations of all CHAI residences and serves as the supervisor during the on call rotation.

The Site Supervisor must be: flexible in schedule and hours of availability, patient with difficult behavior patterns and/or symptoms of illness, willing to adapt to change, willingness to adapt supervisory or treatment style to the needs of the program, the staff, or the clients, and the ability to remain calm in crisis situations.

Physical demands of the job:
• May include lifting and supporting up to 50 lbs
• May be required to bend, stoop, and kneel
• May include lifting clients in and out of wheelchairs, beds and vehicles.

Computer skills:
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Intermediate Skills in Outlook and Word and basic skills in Excel or willingness to develop such skills within 90 days of hire.


Educational/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in related field or at least two years experience working with people with disabilities, preferably in a residential setting
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with treatment planning a plus
• Ability to pass CPR, Basic First Aid and MAP within the first 6 months of employment
