Position Summary:
The Quality Improvement Educator is responsible for ensuring that clinical information provided by clinicians meets all required regulatory and internal quality improvement standards. Specific responsibilities include review of Oasis documentation, ICD-9 coding, and planning of training opportunities based on review-based assessment of educational needs.
This is a 21.75 hour per week (3 days) position; will consider telecommuting option for some responsibilities.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
• Massachusetts RN license required;
• 2+ years experience as supervisor or educator and/or familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid/PPS/Reimbursement systems/Quality Improvement; Home Health experience preferred;
• Must have good organizational and communication skills, and be detail oriented;
• Must have excellent computer skills and be comfortable working in a paperless environment.
