My place in JP has 2 bedrooms (one I currently use as a study and guest room), a nice yard, off street parking, washer/dryer/dishwasher and is fully furnished and equipped. The house, which I own, is a 2-family, and my unit is on the first floor; tenants are quiet and reliable. It's near both a bus that goes to central Boston and a subway (T) stop and is quite close to the major teaching hospitals and Harvard Medical School and School of Public Health. It is also near the Jamaica Pond and Arboretum, both wonderful for walking.
KIND OF IMPORTANT: Any room/share I'd seriously consider is probably going to have to be within at most a 15-20 minute walk of a T-Station; not having a car, I just don't want to have to rely on the bus system. There are a lot of nice people with nice places out there in the furthest reaches of Somerville, but I just don't want to have to hack my hour-and-twenty commute anymore.
