Metropolitan Boston Procurement Internship
The Metropolitan Area Planning Council seeks a procurement intern to work in the Municipal Governance department in its Boston office with its municipal procurement services manager.

The intern will assist the municipal procurement manager in all facets of the development and performance of public procurements and the administration of contracts for MAPC’s partnerships with municipal officials and public safety associations (police and fire). The intern will also assist other municipal governance staff with procurements and contracts/grants administration as directed by the municipal governance director and the municipal procurement manager. The procurement intern will be exposed to working environments that include municipal and public safety officials.
The intern must be personable, have strong writing skills, excellent research capabilities, and prior office experience. Relevant prior procurement experience will be a plus. The intern can be a college junior/senior or graduate student studying law, public administration, accounting or another related field. This is a full-time 8-month paid position without benefits.
