We are looking for someone creative with 5-10 years experience cooking Middle Eastern and Indian food. We have been running a successful world fusion restaurant with strong emphasis on “farm to table” for five years. The kitchen was totally renovated last year. We are changing the menu to add lots more ethnic foods, share platters, eastern flavor profiles. Consequently, you can have lots of creative input into the shape of the new menu. If you excel at plate presentation that's a major bonus. We will also teach you how to manage a kitchen by being part of a well organized team with the latest in costing software, recipe management, menu engineering, budgeting, purchasing programs, etc.
Gloucester is a beautiful town and this could be your opportunity to move out of the city and leave near next to the ocean. Our restaurant group is the largest on the North Shore so there are lots of opportunities to expand your responsibilities and even move to other restaurants to learn new things.
