I am currently looking for performers to be part of a fundraising concert for PAWS New England, which is a dog rescue-shelter in danger of being shut down by lack of funds. PAWS takes in ALL dogs - even those abused and with physical problems - and places them in homes. I personally adopted my dog from them, and in the spirit of the holidays and generosity, I am donating my time to perform and organize/book this concert to raise funds.

I am looking for a variety of performers to donate a short performance to help this worthy cause. I'm looking for a wide variety of acts: singer-songwriters, comedians, jugglers, dancers, any time of "stage" performance that could engage an audience. Performers will get free publicity and a PDF copy of any press for the event. Please note that we are looking for volunteer performances, and this will be an unpaid gig. Your generosity of time is greatly appreciated. :)

The performance will be at Limelight Stage & Studios on Tremont St in Boston at 4:00pm on Sunday, 12/6/09. There is a full sound system, and video screen on site. We welcome ALL types of performers for this event. We are looking for upbeat music - comedy is especially welcome. Depending on the number of performers, you can expect to do approx 2-4 songs or an approx 10 minute performance. More information as the program shapes up.

Solo vocalists are also encouraged to perform, and because this is a karaoke facility, you may use backing tracks if you like.
