JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist active, outgoing woman with M.S. in exchange for room and board in her beautiful Brookline home. This position is for weekday evenings and overnights.

Main responsibilities when I'm awake include:
• transfers from/to my bed, the commode and my scooter
• heating dinner, cleanup and simple everyday chores
• helping to walk and play with my loveable standard poodle service dog, Jake
• helping me to bed and assist with simple computer tasks
• watching movies and sharing great food

Main responsibilities when I'm asleep include:
• awakening 2-3 times at night (via intercom) to either help me onto the commode, or change my sleeping position

LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: Spacious furnished room with TV, Cable, VCR, DVD, high-speed internet access, and stereo. Utilities and bi-monthly housecleaning included. Large, colorful, warm, artistic home located in Brookline Village near a lovely park, 5 minutes from T and #66 bus.

HOURS:
• Five evenings/nighttimes (Mon-Fri) from 7pm to 9am the next morning.
• There are no daytime or weekend responsibilities.

PAYMENT: I provide a beautiful living space, full utilities, and organic, delicious, healthy food, a value of at least $1600 a month.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• graduate or doctoral student, or writer; anyone looking to have a wonderful bill-free living situation with their days and weekends completely free
• a non-smoking woman
• a fast learner, competent, efficient, and responsible
• organized and neat, with attention to detail
• physically strong
• fun-loving and caring
• able to speak English proficiently
• a good driver with a valid driver's license (strongly preferred)
• experience not necessary (will train)

I can't stress enough how very important it is that you are able to learn things quickly. I'm happy to take as long as needed during the initial training session. However, it is difficult for me to train when I am half asleep during the night and need your assistance.
