A multi-million dollar specialty craft contractor is looking for someone to develop its New England industrial insulation division. The successful candidate will have strong estimating and project management skills. Responsibilities include preparing detailed cost estimates, material take-offs, workforce development, scheduling and job execution. Coordination with the industrial scaffold division will be necessary. Review project proposal of plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time effectively; plans for additional resources; develops realistic action plans; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks.
Other duties include expanding the client base, preparing proposals, cross-training with scaffold division. Although largely a technical position, sales experience will be helpful.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience: Minimum of five (5) years experience in industrial (Power Plants and Oil Refinery) insulation, preferably union. Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS) desirable.
Strong PC skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to read electronic blue prints. Prior supervisory experience for at least 100 team members on at least 3 projects. Limited, but occasional overnight travel required.
