Spring is coming! Time to emerge from our winter caves, get up and get moving, ready for the active seasons coming up.
Spring Yoga starts Mon, April 7 and Wed, April 9.
As always, we will start the semester with a focus on stretching and energizing and gradually move into more challenging poses. Classes are taught in the Kripalu style with an interesting mix of other styles, including Iyengar, plus various breathing exercises, energizers, gamma technique, and even a bit of belly dancing warm-ups now and then. Each class is different and focuses on a particular concept (yoga to beef up your immune system) or body part (tight shoulders/neck, or hip openers, etc). Classes are fun – NOT power yoga!
Mondays: April 7 – June 30 (no class Memorial Day)
-6:00-7:30 pm: ongoing
-7:45-9:15 pm: beginners and those wishing for slower-paced yoga
Wednesdays: April 9 – June 25
-6:30-8:00 pm: advanced beginners
At Cambridge Health Associates, 335 Broadway, between Prospect and Inman streets. Free parking lot in back, short walk from Central Sq T stop, all props provided.
$150 for 12-week semester ($12.50/class) or drop in any time $15. If you’d like to sign up for the semester but can’t make all the classes, we can make an adjustment. Miss a class? Make it up at any other class within the semester.
