The Northeastern Society for Group Psychotherapy is pleased to offer a Principles of Group Psychotherapy course.The course will meet the educational requirements for the National Registry of Certified Group Psychotherapists (CGP). The course will cover the following areas: The Foundations of Group Therapy; Group Dynamics; The Change Process in Groups; The Role of the Leader; and Structured and Thematic Groups. Please note the course will replace the CGP offering at the Annual Conference in June.
Classes will meet for four hours on the following Saturday mornings: January 16th, February 6th, March 13th, April 17th and May 15th.
Tuition is $300 for the five classes. Participants will receive a Certificate at the completion of all five classes.
All mental health professionals are invited to register.
