We are an industry leader and Boston is our North American Headquarters location. Within our Corporate Finance organization we have an immediate need for a Financial Database Analyst and Developer. To qualify, you must have 2 or more years of experience supporting financial analysts and finance management with RDMS based applications and data queries / reports.
Responsibilities will include:
•Create queries and reports from various financial database systems;
•Respond to ad-hoc data requests for standard or unique data models;
•Under the supervision of a senior financial analyst you will develop data driven applications, reports and dashboards;
•Build queries for decision support analyses;
•Assist associates in corporate accounting, financial reporting and treasury in using models and reports that facilitate reporting KPIs, consolidated financials and other performance reports by period;
•Will participate in any application upgrades or new introduction projects.
Requirements:
•2 to 5 years of professional experience with demonstrated understanding of business accounting and financial analysis essential.
•Experience working with one or more Relational Databases required.
•Experience with financial applications systems required.
•Experience using an SQL language required.
•Strong Excel skills required.
•Knowledge of Access preferred.
•Hyperion Essbase and HFM experience are significant pluses.
•Experience with a .NET language is required.
•BS degree required with a blend of business, finance and computer science thought to be an ideal foundation for this role.
