Candidate will prepare and use returns-based and holdings-based analytics to support client reviews and secure preferred placement of clients’ model portfolio allocation programs. You will assist in sell-side research efforts aimed at buy-side analysts across various channels.
Responsibilities:
Establish new & maintain existing business relationships with institutional advisors; act as point person for clients’ performance-related questions
Analyze each fund’s style, risks, performance, expenses, manager profiles & key competitors
Prepare and present sales materials & analytics, including Zephyr reports, client presentations, and polished sample RFP responses
Arrange and conduct sales calls and quarterly conference calls with intermediary clients; complete quarterly requests for information
Assess current tools and data; determine needs; support the implementation of any selected software to support sales and analytical efforts
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; CFA preferred
At least 3 years of prior sales experience in the mutual fund industry
Series 6 or 7; Series 63
Proficiency in Zephyr, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively with institutional clients
Demonstrated ability and desire to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture
