Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join their growing department. The right individual will have a Degree in Accounting with at least 3-5 years experience working with taxes. Main responsibilities will include doing a lot of the clean up, as well as reporting to the general ledger. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with Fast Tax as well as Quickbooks. This is a long term contract position with the strong potential to become permanent for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

• Posting general ledger entries
Entering and processing invoices
Preparing monthly and annual financial statements
Processing a variety of tax returns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
3-5 years experience with taxes and tax law
Proficiency with Fast Tax and Quickbooks
Comfortable working within a team and interacting with colleagues of every level
