Title: Digital/Interactive Producer Coop
Purpose and Scope:
This job is in the software development group, which is responsible for all application development, but it interacts closely with the Event Production team, Creative (Design), Copy, and Marketing groups. The digital/interactive producer focuses primarily on production, so your experience should be weighted in interactive/digital rather than creative design.
Principal Responsibilities:
•Transform designs into our various websites
•Work with our Content Management System (CMS)
•Attention to detail (in graphics, layout, typography) to maintain brand integrity
•Work collaboratively and inter-departmentally (Event Production, Designers, Art Directors, Copywriters, Marketing groups) throughout the completion of each project
•Desire to work as a team player, giving and receiving constructive feedback on each assignment
•Ability to work under time constraints, and execute deliverables efficiently
•Flexible and possess significant coordination and organizational skills
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
•Desire to learn new things
Education and Experience Requirements:
•1 -2 years experience. E-commerce or Interactive Agency experience a plus.
•Working knowledge of web tools or CMS is a plus.
•Familiar with HTML, CSS.
•Experience with Photoshop, ImageReady, and graphic optimization.
•Ability to organize and archive digital assets.
•Self-motivated and ability to work independently with little supervision.
•Excellent organizational and communication skills.
In terms of your technology background, the following is ideal: (but we do recognize that syntax and tools are secondary for a top notch developer):
- Experience developing for one or more commercial consumer Web sites
- Experience designing and interfacing with relational database systems
- Experience developing one or more sites using Druapl
- Commercial or open source development with PHP
- Commercial or open source development with other modern high level languages
- Development experience with HTML, Javascript
- Working knowledge of CSS
Candidate must be fluent in CSS, HTML, Javascript and one programming language (C,C++,Java, Perl, Ruby …). This person also needs to have working knowledge of SQL and Unix/Linux. It is important that this person be willing to wear multiple hats and contribute in different areas. Ideally they would be designing 80% and developing the other 20% of the time.

* Administer 150+ RedHat Enterprise server datacenter

* 3+ years of RedHat Enterprise Linux in large web application environments
* Expert knowledge of IP networking and routing
* Expert knowledge of firewalls, IDS, network and host based monitoring tools
* Experience developing scripts and automation tools using scripting languages (Perl, Python, shell, ruby)
* Ability to learn new technologies and perform competitive analysis and provide recommendations for implementation.
* Expert problem solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills with experience in both technical and business environments.
* Experience and knowledge of storage systems (SAN, RAID, NAS)
