So a GPS like this isn't for me. It's frustrating because I spent a long time researching a rugged GPS with strong reception to take hiking. This was perfect the few times I used it in the woods. It maintains a signal when other units don't. That's because of the enlarged external antenna.

The unit was purchased a few years ago, maybe about 3 or so. It's been sitting in a shelf with the batteries taken out since then. The unit comes with the original box, documentation, etc. The software can be downloaded from Garmin's website. It's great because you can record your travel, then download it to a laptop.

The warranty is probably out of date at this point. The unit is practically new. Like I said, I only used it a few times. The screen is pristine which is most important; especially considering the high resolution and brightness. It's a hell of a unit. That's why it's frustrating to keep it when I know I don't get any use out of it.
