Just like most people who take this test, the big hurdle for me is timing. I struggle recognizing concepts fast enough and have difficulty finishing each question in 2-minutes. Because of this, I end up guessing on 10 questions, just so I don't leave any blank. I'm interested in working with someone who can help me learn how to identify different questions types and determine a set strategy for finding the solution. Again, I feel I have a relatively decent base we can work from; certainly that can improve as well- but I feel the majority of the time will be spent on concept identification and approach.

Lastly... and most important...

I am looking for a tutor who can TEACH. By "teach" I mean they will actually be able to relate their knowledge of the concept being tested in a way that I am able to understand. I'm not interested in hiring someone who was born with innate computation skills and scores 800 on the test each time, but is simply unable to to relate this knowledge in a reasonable manner to someone who is not of their knowledge-level. I'm looking for someone who will be able to guide me through difficult concepts, design a game plan, and drive each tutoring session towards a set goal. I have an office we can use; you will have access to a white-board and should feel free to go over concepts as if you were teaching a class, but I'm the only student. I don't want someone to just assign problems and ask me if I have any questions the next time we meet; again I need a teacher and someone proactive.

Payment....

I'm proposing that I have 3, one-hour sessions per week for the next 4-weeks starting the 22nd of December. I'll pay you $150 each week. If I get a 600-640 on the GMAT, you will receive a $300 bonus. If I get 650 or higher you will receive a $900 bonus. I will put this all in a written agreement; we can even get it notarized if that helps.

I have four weeks starting this upcoming Monday. I'd like to get cooking as soon as possible. Please let me know if you are interested.

I am looking for someone 1-2x/month for about 3-5hrs at a time to help me keep up with my house! I live in a 3BR single family house. Not big, not small. Not that messy, but needs the floors cleaned, a good vacuum, dusting .. and a lot of laundry to be ironed/folded.

I will be home when you're there, but will stay out of the way. I can afford to pay 9.00/hr.
