Rehearsals will begin on February 13-April 15th, approximately 2-3 times per week as will be scheduled by the director.

CREW:

Stage Manager: to work with the director on managing the production. The stage manager will be expected to attend as many rehearsals and productions as stated by the director. The stipend will be $500 for the season.

Technical Director: to consult on technical needs of the show, attend 1-2 technical rehearsals prior to the show, and run the technical aspects of the show in every production. (Primarily simple lighting, some sounds, and perhaps a slide show...Nothing too complicated.) Stipend will be $350 for the season.

Production Manager: someone who can handle all management of the production including the stage manager role AND the technical director role. If we find someone with both skills, we will not hire a stage manager and technical director individually. Stipend of $750 will be given for the season.

Set Designer: to consult on a set design, assist in purchasing the relevant props on a given budget, and set our stage prior to each production. Stipend of $250 for the season.

The show, An Hour With Bob, is broadcast 10 times on Cox channels 13 & 18 and Verizon channels 31 & 32 in R.I. and Full Channel 49 over a two week period beginning: Thursday 11pm, Friday 10pm and Saturday 1:00pm. It also airs Saturday at 11:00pm and Monday at 10:30pm.

The Variety show also airs in Fall River every Wednesday at 6:00pm on Ch 95

Quinland Productions has almost wrapped shooting on the no-budget feature Fragile Beast, but we've run into a snag. The office we had scheduled to shoot fell through, so now we're looking for a plain, functional office (desk, chairs, computer, papers) where we can shoot a scene between the lead character and a detective. We need to shoot for three or four hours, on a Saturday or Sunday, preferably an office between Lowell and Boston.

We have a 1 day production that will primarily consist of sit down interviews indoors on Jan. 21 in the Boston area. Our team (Producer, camera Operator & Grip) will be traveling from out of town and we need to hire a Sound Operator with his own equipment (Sound Mixer, Lavaliers, shotgun mic, boom pole/stand etc....) and transportation. BOSTON THEATRE COMPANY SEEKS SUMMER STAGE MANAGER (Boston)

Company One, a resident company at the Boston Center for the Arts, is in search of a STAGE MANAGER for their July/August 2009 production of AFTER THE QUAKE, by Haruki Murakami, adapted for the stage by Frank Galati.

Writer Haruki Murakami, author of The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and Kafka on the Shore, is one of the most acclaimed writers of our time, winning a Yomiuri Award, Japan's equivalent of the Pulitzer. Frank Galati, Tony Award-winning director and adaptor has fashioned an enchanting and deeply moving play out of two of Murakami's short stories. AFTER THE QUAKE is a gentle tale of life in the wake of earth-shaking disaster. A timid man woos an old flame, enchanting her anxious daughter with whimsical bedtime stories of a six foot frog's fight to save Tokyo. Company One invites its audience to experience a testament to healing and hope in an increasingly vulnerable world with what promises to be a beautiful and mesmerizing evening of theatre.

Qualified candidates will have previous experience in theatrical Stage Management.

Meetings will begin mid-May, rehearsals will begin June 1 and run Mon-Thurs nights, Sunday mornings/afternoons. Production runs July 17 - August 15, with shows Wed-Sat nights and Sunday afternoons.
