NHP currently has an opening for a Project Coordinator. <br>

Under the supervision of the Senior Director, manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Project & Process Management Office (PPMO).  Responsible for the effective functioning of the infrastructure of the PPMO, including the PPMO intranet site, reporting and tracking tools and office related operations.  <br>
<br>
Coordinate and manage the PPMO project document repository for the corporate portfolio.  Manage bi-weekly project status report submission process and development of Executive Committee corporate portfolio/dashboard report.<br>
<br>
Participate on projects that involve various degrees of complexity or cross-functional coordination. Work with all members of the PPMO to develop various tools, reports, presentations, and other project management materials.  Provide support for Project Managers and fulfill administrative or project coordination duties.  <br>
<br>
<br>
Primary Responsibilities<br>
•	Under the direction of the Director, bears primary responsibility for coordinating daily PPMO operations, managing the master project schedule, coordinating bi-weekly updates to the Project Reporting Database (ie, project status reviews) and producing bi-weekly reports for the Executive Committee;<br>
•	Implement and maintain reports of PPMO key performance measures and the overall program of corporate priority projects, including reporting, tracking and communication tools;<br>
•	Serve as a single point of contact to maintain ongoing communication with operating departments regarding pertinent PPMO information and operational support;<br>
•	Identify, manage and coordinate the development and implementation of improvements to existing PPMO operations;<br>
•	Provide guidance, ad hoc training and project support services to project managers on  the corporate priority initiatives;<br>
•	Assist business leads, when necessary, on strategic projects to complete and submit status reports or other documents as requested (for projects w/o an assigned PM);<br>
•	Work with PMs to support large, complex projects; includes managing aspects of a project such as project plan updates, coordination of status meetings, drafting status reports, coordination  and overseeing certain deliverables for a project;<br>
•	Perform analytical  tasks as part of a team or for the PPMO (e.g., resource analysis, analysis of past due dependencies);<br>
•	Manage the infrastructure for storing and communicating information on individual projects and the corporate portfolio of projects as well as the NHP  Project & Process Management Approach, tools and templates; and<br>
•	Work within the department to help develop and implement department agendas and project plans, as necessary.<br>
<br>
Preferred Qualifications<br>
•	Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. <br>
•	Must have 3 – 4 years previous experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving internal and  external constituents. Knowledge of health care, especially managed care, is desirable but not required.<br>
Must have:<br>
•	Good analytical, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills<br>
•	Strong  written and oral communications skills;<br>
•	Ability to prioritize work and operate under tight deadlines;<br>
•	Ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization;<br>
•	Ability to work independently and take initiative for managing workload without the need for a<br>
lot of management oversight;<br>
•	Ability to develop presentations, tools & templates;<br>
•	Attention  to detail and always follow through to completion; <br>
•	Good coordination and project management skills; <br>
•	An ability to effectively organize meetings, maintain work plans and project schedules is essential; <br>
•	An ability to work under pressure to meet aggressive schedules.<br>
•	Extensive knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Visio and MS Project strongly preferred. An aptitude for learning new technology such as collaboration software like SharePoint a plus.<br>

The PM role will have multiple responsibilities, including directing multiple projects, defining the delivery approach for engagements, business development, understanding client needs and managing client relationships. <br>
