We are building a first-of-its kind social media community that will have an immense impact on the US. Our research has not uncovered a single site or community that will bring this kind of illustrative information to online users.
We are seeking willing players who are OK with committing sweat equity in lieu of pay as we organically bootstrap a web community. We expect that your involvement would be part-time/off hours if you are working or as many hours you can spare around your job hunt if you are not working. We see our unique community becoming as ubiquitous as Facebook, which was started similarly from a dorm room at Harvard. They remain privately owned and have annual revenue of a half-billion dollars. If you had the chance to go back in time and get involved with Facebook as an equity player, would you do it?
It is this simple:
* If you participate but we are wrong, you will sacrifice some time and effort and may still land a full-time role with us
* If you pass on this and we are right ....
We prefer to connect with people who would become full-time employees once we have the revenue stream to sustain salaries, but we are willing to discuss arrangements that involve service in exchange for equity considerations. We are currently looking for people for the following roles:

* Web Community Manager
* Online advertising sales experts
* UI/UX Architects
* Open Source web developers
* Business development executives

The company is based in Milford, MA but there will be significant telecommuting allowed. Consider our core values and our approach to management:

* We are adults and don't feel the need to micromanage you or your time
* Your work is going to be focused on measurable objectives that are tied to company goals; if you leave at 2:30 to see your kid's game, good for you!
* There is no vacation time; we don't care if you send in a deliverable from a lounge chair in Aruba or a chalet in Aspen.
* We will take 10% of the pre-tax profits every quarter and put it into a bonus pool; since we plan on remaining relatively small, bonuses could eventually eclipse your base
* There is no VC cash to dilute ownership, so a liquid event would actually be meaningful
* We want to create results-oriented culture that rewards achievement
* Political gamesmen will be managed OUT of the institution
* When is the NEXT time you will have an opportunity to join a company with these goals and this approach?
