The network/system administrator will maintain, support and troubleshoot IT infrastructure in a software company. The network/system administrator will be responsible for the management of day to day IT infrastructure support as well as acting as first tier technical support for the clients.
Essential Duties:
This person will oversee all hardware, network configuration and troubleshooting for office system. Some of these responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Configure and maintain network structure
- Configure Cisco site-to-site VPN and client VPN
- Support in-house and remote users
- Set up new users for network and hardware
- Configure and maintain Microsoft Windows Servers
- First tier support for software installation
- General tech support for Microsoft Office
- Performs network backup according to designated schedule
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of IT experience in similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related degree
- CCNA or CCNP
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
