A Boston area IT Consulting firm is seeking an experienced systems engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills with concentration in Citrix and Microsoft technologies, good communications skills and high energy.

Responsibilities include:
* Provide on-site and remote network and operating system administration functions.
* Administer and build Citrix and Microsoft based infrastructure.
* Troubleshoot, install and configure Windows 2000-2008 servers, Exchange 2003-2007 servers, other OS or applications as required
* Install and configure or upgrade servers, routers, switches, workstations, backup systems, network monitoring, remote access, vpn, etc.
* Responsible for overseeing assigned projects. Monitor and manage project plans to ensure the client requirements are accurately met on time to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Maintain communication with the customer to manage proper expectations
* Provide and implement best practices
* Serve as technical liaison between 3rd party service provides and client in resolving related service issues
* Serve as tier-2/tier-3 escalation in resolving network and application issues
Requirements:
* Must have aptitude to diagnose and resolve application and network issues.
* Strong Citrix Presentation Server/ XenApp experience required
* Hands-on administration experience with Windows XP, 2000, 2003, 2008 Active Directory, Terminal Services, Citrix, Exchange 2003, 2007
* Strong documentation skills and proficient with Visio, MS Project and Office
* Have the willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to dynamic environments
* Own car - onsite travel will be required
Certifications: Prefer someone with high level Citrix and/or Microsoft certifications
