We're also only a couple miles from the Fells, a huge forest with several lakes. It's 5 minutes from 95 and 93, and close to Arlington, Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Malden, Winchester, Burlington, and Lexington. There are several buses nearby, the Winchester Center commuter rail station is about 2 miles away, and Alewife and Malden Stations are about a 10-15 minute drive. There's a Walgreens at the corner and a Whole Foods 5 minutes away. The house has high ceilings, hardwood floors, huge windows, a storage area, a large porch, a truly vast yard, 3 bedrooms, 3 offstreet parking spaces, and laundry on site. Your room would be the largest, a huge 16 X 14, with 3 giant windows, a closet, and a decorative, non-working fireplace. The smallest bedroom is currently set up as a pillow room - the floor is covered in mattresses with pillows on top. It's a fun space to hang out or read. If you want, you can pay extra rent and it's all yours to use as you like, but I don't want anyone living there because it shares a thin wall with my room and has little sound privacy. Speaking of which, that's the only down side to this beautiful house - the walls are thin, so we need to be very conscious of noise (and I'm a light sleeper). However, your room and mine share don't share any walls, so there's good sound privacy between the two. The rent is $635 plus half the internet and utilities. (If there are 2 of you sharing the room, that's ok, but I'll ask for a slightly higher rent.) You�ll need 1 month�s rent plus 1 month security deposit to move in.
