PlatformQ seeks to hire a full time graphic and web design specialist. This person reports to the VP of marketing within a fast-growing startup environment and will be responsible for the design and maintenance of multiple websites, html emails, online advertisements, print and online collateral. The ideal candidate must have a strong interest and skills in graphic design, website design and usability. This person must be a team player, energetic, and able to juggle a variety of time-sensitive projects. <br>
Key Responsibilities <br>
•	Play a leading role in the concept, design and implementation of branding, logos, websites and online and print marketing materials for multiple online conferences and events in education, energy and healthcare markets, working with the Vice President of Marketing and Chief Operating Officer.<br>
•	Maintain all aspects of brand consistency, as the overseer of all design pieces. Be the “keeper” of the fonts, sizes, colors (cmyk and rgb) and logos – ensuring that every document has the same look, feel and continuity. <br>
•	Design and maintain multiple websites for individually-branded events and the company, successfully interfacing with internal stakeholders and external vendors.<br>
•	Design graphical elements for use within a virtual trade show environment.<br>
•	Design multiple html email templates for use for each event in communications to different audiences, such as potential attendees, registrants, sales prospects, and marketing partners.<br>
•	Design online advertising banners and other rich media promotions for use in audience acquisition and sales.<br>
•	Design print and online sales collateral, incorporating multimedia features such as video.<br>
•	Design print advertisements (direct mail, magazine or newspaper ads, newsletters) for use in sales and audience acquisition.<br>
•	Design powerpoint templates and graphics for use in sales presentations.<br>
•	Partner with the Chief Operating Officer and VP of Marketing on concept, design and content organization.<br>
•	Work closely with the marketing team in developing new marketing strategies and implement tactics to further develop our established brand and reach new markets.<br>
Required Skills and Experience <br>
•	5 years experience with Web and/or interactive design with demonstrated project management in a B2C internet company desired.<br>
•	Thorough knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark, Flash and Dreamweaver. <br>
•	Strong understanding of HTML and XHTML. JavaScript knowledge is helpful. <br>
•	Strong knowledge of the differences between RGB and CMYK is required. <br>
•	Experience in coding CSS style sheets for the web. <br>
•	Experience designing Web applications, with a solid understanding of information design, user-interface best practices, and the constraints of designing for online products.<br>

LYST is a unique theater experience designed to teach children to give back to the community while learning theater and acting techniques. Children work towards a common goal by donating the proceeds of their production to children-related charities. Through theater and community service, LYST strives to help students build self esteem, confidence, and creative responsibility. <br>

LYST is a six-week cooperative summer program, during which children in grades 3-11, their parents and siblings work together to put on a successful show. Parents do all pre-production and production work, including ticket sales, publicity, costumes, set design, and backstage logistics. Over the past 19 years, this ever-evolving group has given more than $40,000 to individual children's charities chosen by the casts. <br>

 The Position<br>

LYST is looking for an Apprentice / Assistant Director with theater experience and experience directing children in grades 3-11. Qualified candidates must be energetic, creative, enjoy working with children and their parents, and be eager to learn from an experienced LYST theater director. A commitment to directing future LYST summer productions preferred, but not required.<br>

The primary responsibilities of the Graphic Design Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following:  formatting existing artwork and creating original artwork at the request of individual members of the company’s sales force; interacting with members of the company’s sales force and tracking the time spent on each job; designing advertisements to be printed in various industry magazines and to be used in email advertising campaigns; and performing a variety of other graphic related services as may be requested from time to time by the company.  <br>

Detailed List of Responsibilities:<br>
<br>
     • Format existing art and create original artwork for 450+ affiliates.<br>
     • Track the jobs performed, including the dates and time spent on the job, the affiliate’s name, and the job number. <br>
     • Charge the artwork fees to the affiliate through the company’s order management system.<br>
     • Routine computer management, weekly back-ups and affiliate folder organization.<br>
     • Assist in the design advertisements to be printed monthly in various industry magazines and to be used in email advertising campaigns.<br>
     • Preparation of a variety of graphics for the company’s recruiting and promotional activities.<br>
     • Work with the company’s website developer to maintain and update the iPROMOTEu website as needed.<br>
     • Develop new idea’s and ways to improve the Marketing/Design department<br>

One of the primary functions of the Graphic Designer’s position at iPROMOTEu, is to provide high-quality graphics in a fast-paced work environment. The position requires proficiency in the latest software in order to produce accurate and innovative designs, and the ability to quickly master and integrate new tools and technologies.  <br>

Requirements:<br>
Graphic Art background, including a Bachelor’s Degree. Expert in CS3 Illustrator, In Design, and Photoshop is a must, and knowledge of Microsoft Office is encouraged.  Knowledge of basic marketing principles and strategies, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and excellent communication skills are also required. HTML and web design skills are important but not required.  MUST be an extremely efficient (i.e., fast) worker.  Must be highly organized.  Must be professional, courteous and personable when communicating with the company’s affiliates – by phone and/or email.<br>
Two to three year work experience preferred. Understanding of the promotional product industry is a plus.  Must have a standard knowledge of the printing industry.<br>
